ASA Courses and Prices
ASA Basic Keelboat Course (101)
This is a two day course which involves hands-on sailing and an exam for certification recognized by ASA schools thoughout the country. It will prepare you for sailing sailboats up to 20 feet in length. Your ASA membership and all of its benefits are included.

One student/class for two days = $450, two students/class = $350 each, three students/class = $250 each, four = the same.
ASA Basic Coastal Cruising Course (103)
This course requires the above course as a prerequisite. It will prepare you for sailing an auxiliary powered sailboat up to 32 feet in length.

One student/class for two days = $400, two students/class = $300 each, three students/class = $200 each, four students = the same
ASA Bareboat Chartering Course (104)
This is a  two day and one night live-aboard course which requires the above two courses as prerequisites. It earns you a certificate for Bareboat Chartering recognized by many chartering companies affiliated with ASA and others that aren't.

One student for two days and one night = $700, Two students = $600 each.
ASA Coastal Navigation Course (105)
E-MAIL COASTAL NAVIGATION COURSE prepares one for sailing the fog bound, rocky coast of Maine.The course includes Chart Reading, Dead Reckoning Navigation, Tides & Currents, Bearings & Fixes, GPS & Radar applications. Captain Bob moniters each student's progress and coaches as necessary by e-mail, voice mail or snail mail.

The textbook, and training charts are included with this one day course priced at $75 with an additional $35 for ASA Certification if desired.
Instruction on Your Boat
If your boat is 24 feet or longer, this course provides  instruction as requested. You decide what you would like to learn and how many days you desire.

The cost is $150 per day. (Three people may be included for this price.)
